Carlos Zamora's journey into fine jewelry began with a simple moment, watching his father meticulously carve rings from stainless steel using nothing more than files and sandpaper. The care, patience, and love poured into every detail ignited a lifelong passion for artistry.
At just 21 years old, Carlos followed in his father's footsteps and entered the world of jewelry. What set him apart was not just a fascination with beauty, but with the process, the craftsmanship behind every curve, claw, and carat. From hand-sculpted wax models to CAD rendering, stone setting, casting, and engraving, Carlos immersed himself in every technique that brings jewelry to life.
His dedication led him across the globe, apprenticing in New York City and further honing his skills in Italy, Vicenza, Milan, Brescia and Spain. Over the decades, Carlos has worked with some of the world’s most recognized names in luxury jewelry: Harry Winston, David Yurman, Tiffany & Co., Ralph Lauren, De Beers, and more.
Now, as co-founder of Couture Jewelry in Manhattan, New York City, Carlos brings this rich legacy to each custom piece created for clients. Whether designing a bespoke engagement ring or restoring a cherished heirloom, his work reflects decades of expertise, innovation, and care.
